Grrrrrrr

I thought that those energy saving bulbs were supposed to have a life of about 7 years or something like that. I want my money back! We have been in this house 21 months, and the lights not even that old. This week we had not one, but two of them burn out. And we even tried twisting them just in case they were loose. Too bad we can't go back to the regular lights, we aren't saving any money at this rate!

Ya, I know. Plus they are toxic. You can't toss them in the trash. You have to dispose of them in a special place. Just like batteries. We shouldn't toss those in the trash either. We may be saving energy, but we are adding toxic waste to our environment.

I haven't had any burn out yet, but I hate them anyhow. I don't like not having my light INSTANTLY on & bright, and I think they have a cold quality to the light that they give off. Maybe it's just the kind that I got?

Hey just so you know...you can call the phone number on the light bulb or box and have it replaced for free. My mom has done this several times.

What a bummer! So much for being "green"!
