As if....

...being pregnant wasn't difficult enough. I started the week with a bladder infection, but that was just the start and not even the worst part. Tuesday I had an appointment with my OB, and things were looking good, she worked me in for an ultrasound and saw that the heartbeat was strong and that all looked well so far, and that was the highlight of the week. Thursday I had a bit of a crisis, besides having to go to the bathroom several times during the night, I heard Luke about 4 times in the night, so I really didn't sleep well. I just thought that the day would be exhausting, but about the time I was putting Luke down for his nap, I started having pain in my back and it got stronger very fast. I knew I had to go to the hospital because it felt like the same kind of pain I had back in January 2007 when I had kidney stones. So, I found someone to stay with Luke until Michael's mother could get here and I found a ride to the ER and Michael met me there. Kidney stones. That's now what I have to deal with. Uuuggg.

YOU POOR THING! That's so terrible. I'm sorry that you have to deal with all of that. Pregnancy is enough all on it's own...pregnancy with a toddler is even harder. I don't even want to imagine kidney stones and a bladder infection thrown in there!

I'll send good energy your way. Maybe I'll just pray for you...it's easier & more effective.

I'm sorry Jeannie! Being pregnant should make you exempt from any additional pain.
